Cory Doctorow explains DRM to MSFT

Cory Doctorow, of EFF, was in Redmond yesterday trying to explain DRM to Microsoft. He outlined the goals of his talk as follows:

Here's what I'm here to convince you of:

1. That DRM systems don't work

2. That DRM systems are bad for society

3. That DRM systems are bad for business

4. That DRM systems are bad for artists

5. That DRM is a bad business-move for MSFT

His talk is one of the best-written things I have ever read on this topic. (When someone is a real-life writer, it shows!) His wuffie just skyrocketed.
