Welcome to the University of California Berkeley (Boalt Hall) Chapter of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.  ATLA is the world's largest trial bar, with over 60,000 members worldwide.  We are dedicated to promoting and protecting consumer safety, the right to trial by jury, and America's civil justice system.  Our goal is to assist students in developing the skills, knowledge, and professional contacts needed to become a successful trial attorney.  Chapter members have the opportunity to participate in the ATLA annual Student Trial Advocacy Competition, the nation's premier mock trial competition, held in actual courtrooms before sitting judges and practicing trial lawyers.  Members also participate in ATLA's Mentor program and receive career-enhancing information with Trial magazine.
