in Berkeley and in Oakland (6:00 - 7:30 p.m., Booth Auditorium at Boalt Hall) Guest speaker: - Dan Silva, Investigator of the Berkeley Police Review Commission and former Investigator of Oakland's Citizens' Police Review Board We will also be showing a video of a past hearing held before Oakland's Citizens' Police Review Board. |

Preparing Your Case (6:00 - 7:30 p.m., 140 Boalt) Guest speaker: Ishmael Tarikh, Attorney and former Director of Bay Area Police Watch IMPORTANT: You must read through the case packet assigned for this training session prior to attending. Please be familiar with the facts of the case and come prepared with questions and comments for the discussion. If you are a clinic participant, you will receive a copy of the case packet in your locker before noon on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2004. If you are not a clinic participant, please email the Co-Chairs for information on obtaining a case packet. |
